Refurbishment of the existing warehouse and a new two storey office extension for Pipers Crisps. The project was carried out in two phases at the request of our Client. In the first phase, the existing warehouse was stripped down to the steel frame, renovated and re-clad to improve thermal properties. Internally, the warehouse was renovated to a hygienic standard ready for the Client to resume production straight away.

During phase two we segregated the site to allow production in the factory to re-commence whilst we built the office block. Lindum coordinated logistics and planning to ensure site safety remained the main focus whilst also managing the Client's contractors who adopted our Health and Safety procedures.

The office block was constructed to the front of the operational warehouse with a reception area, two large meeting rooms, offices, toilets and a staff canteen. The offices are open plan with smaller area created by the use of finished glazed panels; maximising light distribution throughout. PV panels were installed on the extension roof to generate renewable energy.

Lindum Joinery produced the bespoke furniture installed in the canteen.

Quote from Simon Herring, Director of Pipers Crisps: "Thank you, it's great and you have been a great team to work with."
