Eminox: Office, Factory, R&D Facility

Eminox Ltd

The refurbishment of a site on the Corringham Industrial Estate for the relocation of Eminox - the project was split into three phases.

Phase 1: Main Factory Refurbishment - Strip out existing services, removal of cladding and demolition of single storey buildings back to the steel frame. Provision of welfare facilities on the north and west elevations with the installation of new vision panels. The existing floor slab was made good and new floor finishes applied. Full M&E was installed within the main factory. The Client was then able to fit out the factory with the equipment required.

Phase 2: Rear Car Park and Front Office Block - Demolition of existing office block and construction of a bigger, fully fitted out office with a steel frame structure, composite wall panels, windows and curtain wall.

Phase 3: Rear R&D Factory Unit Refurbishment - Updating of asbestos clad factory to current standards. New walls, roof, M&E, flooring, windows, doors and client specific services plus internal offices.

Quote from Alan Randle, Project Manager, Eminox Limited: "Once again I am compelled to write a few words to say thank you to John and his team on site for all their efforts during all 3 phases of work. John has made every effort to ensure work has progressed in a way that has enabled Eminox to continue its operations without impact in any way."
