An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join the Lindum Peterborough team. Based at our regional office at Lindum Business Park, Peterborough. Our Peterborough division undertakes a variety of new build and refurbishment projects in the region, as well as planned and reactive maintenance for a range of Clients.

You will have the skills to work on construction projects up to £250k, looking after multiple construction projects across multiple sectors.

You will be planning and programming all site activities, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality. Assisting in bid preparation and compiling project programmes from pre-construction through to build and defects.

Managing health, safety and environmental aspects or the project, to plan work, co-ordinate and supervise designers, subcontractors and labour and ensure work is progressing on schedule, to the required standard whilst controlling programme and costs. You will be working with a Working Foreman/Supervisor Managing Site Teams (both directly employed staff and subcontractors)

We are looking for a team member with leadership skills to support and encourage colleagues and achieve objectives as a team. Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and First Aid at Work is essential to the role.  You should be proactive, self-driven and commercially minded. You will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with clients and leading progress meetings so must be always friendly and professional.
