The Joinery Team need someone who understands and has a hands-on experience of either bench or site joinery; someone who can bring their enthusiasm to identify the most competitive ways to meet customer needs.
Being able to understand customer needs, either by meeting them in person or reading drawings is key to being successful in this role so a can do attitude is key.
This position is an important member of the Team; getting the right job, at the right price at the start is critical for our skilled joiners to produce a great job.
Previous experience as an estimator in joinery would obviously be good but it isn’t essential. We are looking for someone who understands joinery so they can bring their skill and expertise to get the job started right.
Kind of Skills we are looking for:
Ability to read drawings to identify the materials needed
Understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines
Someone who can talk with clients to understand exactly what they need and guide them with ideas and suggestions
A knowledge of the practical installation of joinery in buildings
