Introduction to the Lindum Division

Our legal department is part of Lindum Group’s Holdings division and works as an integral part of the business to help and support the other divisions of the group in making decisions and meeting their objectives. The role of the department is centred on working with the group divisions to manage and reduce legal, business and financial risk through reviewing contractual documentation and providing advice and training.

Introduction to the role 

As a legal administrator you will provide a full range of administrative support to the 3 legal advisors and the legal services manager. The workload of the department is very diverse and this role provides an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career as part of a hard working and friendly team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing a variety of legal documents;
  • Managing and sorting incoming and outgoing department post;
  • Preparing documents for signature under the supervision of the relevant legal advisor;
  • Answering telephone calls, assisting with diary management and arranging meetings;
  • Dealing promptly and courteously with colleagues, customers and clients in relation to any matters or queries arising;
  • Writing and processing covering letters and other correspondence as required;
  • Filing, organising, proofreading, redacting and scanning legal documents; and
  • Any other reasonable duties as required commensurate with your role.

  • Knowledge, experience and proficiency in operating Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel;
  • Experience of working within an in-house legal team would be desirable but not essential; and
  • A professional qualification in business administration or secretarial skills would be also be desirable.
