Lindum Group to sponsor Lincolnshire Tennis

2nd January 2018

Lindum Group is delighted to announce it has signed a two year deal to support Lincolnshire Tennis.

The construction company is to be the organisation’s main sponsor for 2018 and 2019.

Lincolnshire Tennis is the public facing name of the Lincolnshire Lawn Tennis Association and supports the needs of 40 registered clubs and its many thousands of members across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.

Chairman of Lincolnshire Tennis, John Copsey said: “In recent years Lincolnshire Tennis’s activities have been severely hampered by significant cuts in central funding by British Tennis.

“Over recent months we have been working hard to find a main sponsor that fits in with our own ideals and ethos of our great sport and are thrilled that Lindum Group has agreed to create a partnership with us.

“This partnership means that we can now start to rebuild our programmes, providing greater support to our clubs, our coaches, our many players and our county teams. The first major event to benefit from this partnership will be the Lindum Lincolnshire and British Tennis Awards Ceremony to be held at The Showroom in Lincoln on Saturday 24th March 2018.

“Banners promoting our partnership will also be provided for display at all Lincolnshire registered clubs”

David Chambers, Chairman of Lindum Group, said: “Lindum is proud to be associated with Lincolnshire Tennis and is delighted to support the organisation through this new sponsorship deal.

“Our company has a long-standing association with the sport, which is also a personal passion of mine.

“This partnership also reflects Lindum’s wider ambition of investing in our local communities and nurturing talent, a philosophy which underpins our training and apprenticeship programmes.

“We are pleased to be working with an organisation which not only provides today’s players with excellent facilities across Lincolnshire but also serves up a platform for the next generation of tennis stars.”
