Lindum has reached practical completion of two new industrial units for developer and regeneration specialist St Modwen.
The project on the A46 has created more than 95,000 sq ft of warehouse and manufacturing accommodation within one of the region’s main strategic employment locations.
Practical completion of phase one follows submission of a planning application for the next phase of development at the site, which was previously known as Network 46 and is now called St. Modwen Park Lincoln.
This latest application, submitted to North Kesteven District Council earlier this year, spans a further 75,000 sq ft and demonstrates the developer’s continued investment in the region and commitment to the wider scheme.
Planning consent had originally been granted for more than 960,000 sq ft of commercial space on the 70-acre Business Park, part of which has been developed with occupiers including Apogee, Turbine Efficiency UK Mail and DPDUK.
St Modwen’s plans include an additional 735,000 sqft, across the 45 acres of remaining development land. Rob Richardson, Senior Development Manager at St. Modwen, said: “This represents a significant milestone in a very important project. This site represents a huge opportunity for the region and we are confident will appeal to a diverse occupier profile that will be a major boost for the Lincolnshire economy.
“We have submitted planning for phase two following and plan to deliver this next phase to support phase one and attract further business to the wider development.”
Lincoln-based Banks Long is marketing the scheme with Cushman and Wakefield.
