Lindum is delighted to be working for Wellingborough Homes to demolish a derelict former shopping centre and build 23 new flats in its place.

The site had fallen into disrepair and had become a magnet for antisocial behaviour. The development will deliver 23 properties that are due to be handed over in Autumn 2019.

Lindum has an established track record of working with housing associations to provide much-needed affordable properties.

MD Mick Papworth said: “It is incredibly satisfying to be working on a project which will reinvigorate this part of the community. The site has been standing empty for a number of years and the plans to bring it back into use have been welcomed by local residents."

Tim Davy, Chairman of Wellingborough Homes, said: “It’s a very proud moment when you can turn sites that have not been used for years and transform them into new affordable homes for local people.

"This development is very much part of our ambition of growth, and it is great that we can work with the Borough Council of Wellingborough and a well-respected construction company such as Lindum to develop a diverse range of new homes to meet local needs.”
