Unit 1, Tritton Retail Park

Coal Pension Properties Ltd

A refurbishment of a retail unit on Tritton Retail Park in Lincoln to form two units. The project involved stripping elevations back to the steel frame through multiple layers of previous tenants' works. We also installed new cladding and feature glazing as well as a refurbishment of the roof and service yard with new services to each unit.

The works included removal of the mezzanine floor, installation of new ducting ready for the installation of a new high voltage electricity supply which was brought across the car park with the work taking place at night.

The high profile site is on a busy retail park in Lincoln where our Site Manager (John Belton) liaised with the Retail Park Manager and neighbouring store Managers daily to ensure our works were coordinated to minimise any impact on their operations.

Daily perimeter checks ensured that the site was well presented and members of the general public were safe from our activities.

Quote from Craig Baldwin of Cushman Wakeman, Client's Agent, in an email to our Project Surveyor, Steve Roberts:
"Thank you to you, John, Mick and the Lindum Team for successfully completing this project. Just to run over by one week (based on a two week reduced programme from the start!) and to work within a tight budget is an excellent result given the challenges faced during the works. It has been a pleasure working with you all and hope we work together in the future. The client is very pleased."
