Project Overview

Share Article:

Lindum was appointed by Lincolnshire County Council to deliver a phased extension and refurbishment of William Stukeley Church of England Primary School, creating additional teaching space to support the area’s growing population while allowing the school to remain fully operational throughout construction.

The project included the construction of a new classroom, extensions to the existing hall and plant room, refurbishment of staff facilities and the design of a future expansion phase to accommodate increasing pupil numbers. Working closely with the client, school staff and local residents, our team carefully managed the delivery of the project within the constraints of a live school environment, maintaining safe access and minimising disruption to daily activities.

Sustainability and long-term value were central to the development. The project delivered a 10% Biodiversity Net Gain through new planting and wildlife habitats, while all construction waste was diverted from landfill. Lindum also worked with local suppliers and social enterprises to provide community benefits, including new outdoor learning features for the school and support for local organisations.
