We took the decision to run a single limited company structure (Lindum Group Limited) in the 1990s, so that we could give clients confidence that we were a well-resourced contractor that had the resources to do the job properly and to be around for the 12-year latent defect period to put right any issues. We maintain the same structure to this day and our reasons are still the same.
We have a strong belief in teamwork, and so internally we arrange ourselves into separate operating units, or divisions, with delegated responsibility.
Our divisions and teams are:
Lindum Building Maintenance Services (BMS)
Lindum Joint Venture Property
Lindum Waste Recycling (LWR)
Lindum Western Growth Corridor
Each division has a General Manager or Managing Director, with its own management team and business plan, and the autonomy and authority to operate as they see fit, within Lindum’s strategy aims and objectives.
All employees have the opportunity to purchase shares in Lindum Group Ltd which are traded through our Employee Benefit Trust and the vast majority own shares – many purchased through a SAYE scheme on a regular basis. Lindum is a member of the Employee Ownership Association (EOA) and is listed amongst the top 50 employee owned companies in the UK.
