Lindum delivered a new two-storey medical centre at Olive Lane, Waverley, providing modern GP facilities for the growing local community.

The 600m² facility includes reception and waiting areas, consultation and clinical rooms, a minor operations room, staff facilities, offices, meeting rooms and administration spaces. The works also included associated car and cycle parking, landscaping, drainage and new access routes.

Our in-house design team identified opportunities to improve buildability and reduce costs, including changes to the structural lining system and the M&E strategy. These solutions reduced construction time and future maintenance requirements while maintaining the required performance.

The medical centre was constructed alongside Lindum’s Olive Lane retail development. Close coordination between the two projects enabled shared site resources, consistent external finishes and improved access to the medical centre, including a dropped kerb for emergency ambulance trolley access.

The completed facility provides essential primary healthcare services for residents of the rapidly growing Waverley community.
