Project Overview
Lindum completed the construction of 12 apartments for LACE Housing in the Lincolnshire village of Ingham. These apartments are for people aged over 55 who wish to retain their independence and stay within their local area.
The development is in a fantastic location in a desirable village, overlooking open countryside, with the added bonus of the Red Arrows flying over during practice sessions.
The apartments are timber framed and clad in buff and red brick. PV panels produce energy in an eco-friendly manner and the properties are economical to heat. Design, from taps and door handles to central lift shaft, has been developed to facilitate the future needs of the residents.
We ensured we were in communication with the neighbouring Doctor’s Surgery throughout the project to ensure patients were able to make their appointments without being compromised by site traffic entering and leaving our site. We had a banksman on hand to direct traffic in and out of site, this person ensured the traffic flowed to and from the village at all times.
