Share Article:

Lindum Group built the Skills & Education Hub extension at LNER Stadium, home of Lincoln City Football Club, enabling the Lincoln City Foundation to expand its vital social impact work across the local community.

The extension to the Stacey West stand features a new steel frame, brickwork, and concrete flooring. Extensive groundworks included the installation of a new mains water supply, increased power supply, and a state-of-the-art pitch irrigation recycling system.

New toilet facilities were integrated into the existing Stacey West stand, improving accessibility for matchday supporters.

A 70,000-litre rainwater tank was installed to capture rainwater from the pitch and roof, which is now being reused to irrigate the pitch. This innovation will save the club thousands of pounds annually on water costs and reduce reliance on mains water.

The new extension provides 1,500 square metres of additional space for the Lincoln City Foundation, expanding its ability to deliver educational and community programmes. The Skills & Education Hub provides a dedicated space for the Foundation’s social initiatives and offers improved facilities to further engage the local community.

The Supporters Trust Hub has also been successfully integrated into the development, enhancing the matchday experience and providing fans with a space to connect with the club outside of matchdays.

The project is a testament to the strong partnership between Lindum Group and Lincoln City Football Club. As part of our ongoing commitment, we also donated a purpose-built pod to the Red Imps Community Trust, ensuring they continue to support fans during matchdays and community events.
