Project Overview
Lindum refurbished the Conduit Lane public toilets in Grantham for South Kesteven District Council, bringing the much-needed facilities back into public use after being closed for several years.
The project transformed the outdated building into a modern, accessible and welcoming facility for residents and visitors. Works included the refurbishment of the male and female toilets, a new accessible toilet with Radar key access, replacement windows and doors, new fixtures and fittings, full redecoration, and upgraded mechanical and electrical services. New electronic entry systems and security measures were also installed to help reduce anti-social behaviour.
The reopened facilities now provide an important service for the local community, supporting the ongoing regeneration of Grantham town centre and creating a cleaner, safer and more welcoming environment for residents, shoppers and visitors alike.
