Reception Counters

Every reception area serves a different purpose, so our approach is always tailored to the building, the client and the people using the space. We focus on creating counters that are practical, hard-wearing and visually striking in equal measure.

Lindum Joinery

Every reception area serves a different purpose, so we design each counter around the specific needs of the building, the client and the people using the space, from public-facing customer service areas and education settings to hospitality and commercial interiors.

We work within contemporary developments, refurbishment schemes and heritage properties alike, collaborating closely with project teams throughout. Our in-house joinery specialists manufacture everything from curved feature desks and integrated storage to acoustic panelling, timber detailing and bespoke finishes.

The Drill Box Office Refurbishment, Lincoln

Working within the refurbishment of The Drill entertainment venue in Lincoln, we crafted a new reception desk and bar area, designed to sit within the character of the Grade II listed property while supporting the venue’s modernisation. The work was delivered to a demanding programme ahead of the pantomime season.

Franklin College Reception Desk, Grimsby

For the new classroom block at Franklin Sixth Form College, we designed and produced a reception desk intended as a focal point within the entrance area, balancing appearance with long-term practicality for a busy college environment.

SKDC Customer Service Reception Counter, Grantham

We created bespoke curved reception and customer advice desks for South Kesteven District Council’s new Customer Service Centre in The Picture House, Grantham. Veneered oak worktops were combined with acoustic slatted panelling to reduce noise in busy waiting and consultation areas.
