Lindum is delighted to announce that Darren King and James Nellist have been appointed to Lindum Group’s Executive Board.
Darren, who is Managing Director of the Group’s Peterborough division, entered the construction industry from school, joining Lindum Peterborough in 2013.
James, Managing Director of Lindum’s York division, started working for Lindum Construction in Lincoln in 2007 as a Quantity Surveyor.
Both will continue to focus on running their divisions as well as taking on Group-wide responsibilities as Executive Board members.
Darren, whose projects include the MAGPAS air ambulance airbase and HQ in Cambridgeshire, and affordable homes for Platform Housing Group in Market Harborough, said: “I am honoured to have been appointed to the Executive Board and looking forward to bringing my experience to this new Group role.
“Lindum’s commitment to looking after its people and its clients, and making continued improvements, means the business is an inspiring place to lead and grow.”
James, who has led Lindum’s award-winning sensitive and sustainable improvements at York Racecourse, said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed to the board and excited to help shape the future direction of the company.
“I’m looking forward to working together with the rest of the Executive Board team to help us continue to improve the services we provide.”

Darren, who grew up in Glinton, Peterborough and attended Arthur Mellows Village College, has 24 years’ experience in the construction industry.
He started at Lindum as a Contracts Manager in 2013 and was appointed Managing Director of Lindum Peterborough in 2020.
James joined Lindum Group following graduation from the University of Lincoln with a BA degree in Business and Law.
He relocated with his family to York in 2015, when he became Managing Surveyor at Lindum York, leading the commercial and estimating teams.
James was appointed Managing Director of the York division in 2017.
