Lindum was appointed by Harworth Group to design and build its new headquarters at Highfield Spring, Waverley, as part of a major brownfield regeneration project.

The £10.7 million development transformed a former industrial site at the historic Orgreave coal mining complex into a modern commercial destination. Alongside Harworth’s new 18,500 sq ft headquarters, Lindum delivered extensive ground works, infrastructure, landscaping and development plots to support future growth across the wider site.

Designed to reflect the area’s industrial heritage, the two-storey headquarters combines a distinctive external design with a high-quality modern workplace environment. The building was delivered as a complete turnkey solution, incorporating a sustainable design approach and achieving both BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ ratings.

Through close collaboration with Harworth and the wider project team, Lindum successfully delivered the development within a challenging programme, creating a landmark workplace and establishing the foundations for future investment at Waverley.
