Apprenticeships & Trainees

Craft Apprenticeships

Lindum is committed to the training of our future generations and a craft apprenticeship offers the ideal opportunity to learn a trade, combining on-the-job training with part-time study at a local college. We currently offer apprenticeships in Bricklaying, Site Joinery, Bench Joinery, Painting & Decorating, Groundwork and Automotive Engineering; at Level 2 and above.

Apprenticeships at Lindum Group are delivered in partnership with CITB, who ensure that our apprentices follow an approved framework towards their trade qualifications. If you are yet to do so, we recommend that you register with CITB online at As well as offering up-to-date information and advice, CITB can inform you of any suitable opportunities being offered by other local companies and last year helped over 3,500 people to gain construction apprenticeships.

The closing date has now passed for our Lincoln-based 2016 Apprenticeship Scheme, and details of our 2017 opportunities will be released next year. We are, however, currently recruiting apprentices in other areas throughout the Group, please see below for more information.

Technical & Professional Traineeships

We offer Trainee opportunities which would be ideal for a school or college leaver looking to start their career or an individual looking to enter a technical or professional role. We offer Traineeships in a range of areas, including Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Design Coordination, Buying and Procurement, Site Management, Construction Management, Finance and Business Administration.

A Traineeship is a great opportunity to learn on-the-job, working alongside experienced colleagues who will provide guidance and support throughout. We also offer opportunities for further training and development, such as in-house and external training courses or part-time study towards recognised qualifications; an ideal alternative to full-time Higher Education with the advantage of gaining practical experience whilst you study.

When a vacancy is confirmed we consider those who have taken the time to contact us previously, so even if you don't see an advertised role you'd like to apply for, if you are interested in a career with Lindum we would be very pleased to hear from you.
