Two independent wellbeing practices are flourishing after joining forces in a shared business space owned and managed by Lindum Group.
CentredTherapies and Lincolnshire Psychotherapy are now co-located in a building off Doddington Road, creating a welcoming hub for holistic health and wellbeing.
The collaboration sees the two complementary businesses sharing a dual-office suite with common access, offering clients a more integrated experience that combines therapeutic massage and psychotherapeutic support under one roof.
CentredTherapies, run by Carolyn Hodson (pictured below left), is a well-established provider of massage and holistic treatments in Lincoln, offering services such as Swedish massage, sports massage, pregnancy massage, aromatherapy, Reiki, reflexology, and hot stone therapy. Lincolnshire Psychotherapy, led by Melanie Meik (pictured below right), specialises in relational psychotherapy, providing clients with a safe, supportive environment to address anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and other emotional challenges.
By co-locating, the practices can deliver a seamless approach to wellbeing. For example, a massage client experiencing high stress could be referred for counselling, while a psychotherapy client could complement sessions with holistic self-care treatments. The pair are also exploring joint initiatives, including a hypnobirthing course.
The practices are based in a shared annex at Manor House, Low Moor Road, Lincoln, LN6 3JY, a building owned by Lindum Group, a company better known for its construction projects across Lincolnshire. Beyond construction, Lindum manages multiple business premises and parks, providing landlord services to 47 other businesses under the oversight of Angela Morley.
Angela said: “We see our role as more than just providing premises. We aim to create the right environment for our tenants to succeed.
“Carolyn has been part of our tenant community for several years, and when the neighbouring space became available, we immediately thought of Melanie, who had been looking for a permanent home for her business.
“We wanted to ensure that whoever moved in would complement the calm, welcoming atmosphere Carolyn has built. It’s important to us that our spaces work well for our tenants and their clients.
“By helping to bring like-minded businesses together, we’re supporting collaboration, wellbeing, and long-term success within our local business community.”
Melanie added: “Sharing this space with CentredTherapies allows us to offer clients a truly holistic approach to wellbeing. It’s wonderful to know that someone seeking support for their mental health can also access complementary therapies under the same roof, making self-care simpler and more integrated.”
Carolyn added: “Having Lincolnshire Psychotherapy as our neighbours has created a supportive and collaborative environment. Clients benefit from easy access to both massage and psychotherapy services, and together we’re building a space that truly promotes overall wellbeing for the community.”
Manor House is also home to other health-focused tenants, including HS Health Group, providing physiotherapy and private & NHS healthcare services, and Lucy Pendle Counselling, offering professional counselling support. These operate alongside long-standing tenants including Maher Millard, Richardson Electronics and Bspoke Social Care.
