Lindum Construction specialises in major construction projects mainly across the East Midlands region and is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Lincoln-based team.
You will be responsible for managing projects up to £15m including subcontract procurement, payments and measures, cost management and valuations, build estimates and variation costings, forecasting and cost value reporting.
| What We Are Looking For
Applicants must have strong experience as a QS in the construction industry, either at intermediate or senior level. You must have knowledge of JCT and NEC form of contracts and experience managing projects in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, food, retail, education, affordable housing. Our offices are at Lindum Business Park in North Hykeham. A full driving licence is required, as the role will involve work-related travel to sites, mainly within a 40-50 mile radius of Lincoln but occasionally further afield. A company car or car allowance is provided. Above all, the right skills and attitude are what we’re looking for, someone who is commercially astute, conscientious, works well in a team and is able to drive projects forward as well as develop good relationships with colleagues and clients. |
