Our Lindum Plant division is a leading specialist providing a one stop shop for plant and small tool hire, equipment and vehicle servicing, MOT testing and vehicle repairs. Our workshops offer a hugely varied environment, dealing with vans, motorhomes, vintage cars, lorries, Emergency vehicles, plant machinery and construction equipment.
We are currently seeking an experienced Small Tools Engineer to join our busy Plant maintenance team to be based at our Head Office in North Hykeham, Lincoln. You will be responsible for testing and repairing all our small plant, tools and equipment plus supporting our external customers with repairs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Equipment and Specialist tools and non-mechanical items – Safety Inspections.
- Repairs and maintenance of all items
- Collation and processing of all associated paperwork and invoice preparation.
- Basic customer contact
- Health and safety of own work area.
- Some General delivery driving. As required.
- Ordering and Collection of parts
- General small plant and equipment washing / cleaning in preparation for hire
- Daily updating of Hire System, inventory management and job card completion.
- Damage rectification and recording.
- Other general duties
- Greeting visitors and handling customers hire and repair requirements
- Creating safe environment for deliveries and collections
- Helping with Inventory control – (Quality and numbers of items )
A valid driving licence is required as there may be an element of travel to our sites delivering / collecting tools
