Lindum has appointed a new General Manager for its Peterborough division.
Darren King has been promoted to the top role after seven years as a Contracts Manager for the company.
He will be supported by newly-appointed Commercial Manager Steve Angus, who has been with Lindum for six years.
Darren grew up in Werrington and attended Arthur Mellows Village College. He has 19 years’ experience in the construction industry.
He said: “I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to lead a strong team of people in my new position as General Manager of Lindum Peterborough.
“I hope we can continue to achieve positive results and maintain our long term client and partner relationships.”
During his time at Lindum, which is based on the Lindum Business Park in Newark Road, Darren (37) has been directly involved with the refurbishment of Hereward Tower in Peterborough, the extension to Serpentine Green Shopping Centre and more recently the construction of a 60 bed Extra Care home in Whittlesey for Longhurst Group.
Group Chairman David Chambers said: “We are really pleased to appoint Darren to the role of General Manager. The promotion is a reflection of his abilities, hard work and commitment.
“Darren is a practical builder who makes sensible decisions and who will do his upmost to look after clients and develop new relationships.

Darren, who lives in Peterborough, is married to Andrea and has one son called Spencer.
