Lindum Peterborough is recruiting after winning a number of high-profile contracts across Cambridgeshire.

The division is currently looking to fill a range of skilled technical and trade positions, which would be based out of its offices at the Lindum Business Park in Newark Road.

Jobs on offer include contracts manager, design co-ordinator and working foreman and well as site managers, bricklayers and general labourers.

It comes as Lindum continues to increase its operations in the Peterborough area, with new contracts including construction of a new headquarters for MAGPAS air ambulance, a two-storey office block and haulage yard for Maritime Haulage Company and a host of refurbishments works in schools over the summer break.

Managing director Darren King said it was a rare opportunity for new employees to join a thriving business.

Lindum has operated in Peterborough for more than 60 years. 10 years ago, the company invested £2m to set up the Lindum Business Park by transforming the previously run down, unoccupied, Mansons’ property in Newark Road into 12,500ft2 of office accommodation and a further 8,350ft2 of industrial premises.

Since 2011 it has grown from having 40 employees in the city to nearly 100, including Lindum’s specialist roofing and cladding division.
