Lindum Business Park in Peterborough officially opened ten years ago today.
Although Lindum has worked in the city for more than 60 years, initially as Sturgeon, in 2011 the Group invested £2 million in its current offices in Newark Road.
The previously run down, unoccupied, Mansons’ building was transformed into 12,500 square feet of modern office accommodation and a further 8,350 square feet of industrial premises. It was also fitted with 50Kw photovoltaic solar panels along the full length of the building.
The business park was officially opened in June 2012 with 100 guests including clients, employees and local VIPs in attendance.
Darren King, Director of Lindum Peterborough said: “The business park has been an excellent base from which to grow our company and build an exceptional team of employees, subcontractors, clients and partners.
“Over the years we have been able to develop strong connections with repeat customers, such as Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue, Peterborough College and Serpentine Green Shopping Centre.
“Even ten years on, we are still building our strong relationships. We have recently completed work with the Woodgreen Animal Centre, who we are hoping to work with again, and Hereward Towers.
“Here’s to another great ten years.”
