• Magpas Air Ambulance hosted Lindum Peterborough and Accent Housing at its new HQ for CPR training. 
• Lindum and Accent members received CPR training, defibrillator training and a tour of the new Magpas facility.
• Lindum is currently working with Accent Housing on a new affordable homes scheme in Bottisham.  

Lindum Group arranged for some of its team, along with members of Accent Housing, to receive CPR training at the recently opened Magpas headquarters in Alconbury Weald which was successfully handed over by Lindum last September.

The Magpas paramedics taught the team how to appropriately assess a patient, and how to perform CPR.

The teams were also shown how to correctly use a defibrillator and were joined by a former patient of the air ambulance, Alistair, who gave an insight into his experience and how Magpas provided life-saving treatment.

Following the training, the team were given a behind the scenes tour of the new facility.

“We are very fortunate to be able to share this experience with two key clients of Lindum and give our colleagues the opportunity to learn important lifesaving skills.

“It was brilliant to have a tour of the Magpas HQ and see it in operation. The facility is fantastic and is a testament to all the planning and hard work that went into creating a new home for the air ambulance.

Lindum is currently working with Accent Housing on delivering 50 affordable homes in Bottisham, which will reach EPC rating A.

These energy efficient homes will be a mix of shared ownership and affordable rent, with a combination of one-bedroom flats, two to four-bedroom semi-detached houses and four two-bed bungalows.
