Work is progressing on 24 new apartments for older people in the north of Lincoln.
Specialist accommodation provider LACE Housing held a photo shoot on site at Roman Gate Court.
Located off Harpers Road on the outskirts of Lincoln, the finished scheme will consist of 24 one-bedroom apartments with communal facilities and will complement the neighbouring housing development.
Lindum Group has been appointed to build Roman Gate Court. The site boasts a wide range of amenities nearby including the Nettleham Fields shopping centre, supermarket, fitness centre and places to eat and drink.
LACE Housing’s CEO Nick Chambers said: “Specialising in affordable housing for older people, we are delighted to be investing further in new homes for those in need within Greater Lincolnshire.
“This could not be achieved without the invaluable support of contractors, the local authority, Homes England and members of the local community who are actively engaged with these exciting new development opportunities.”
Lindum Group MD Edward Chambers said it was great to be on site to see work progressing on Roman Gate Court.
“Lindum Group is really pleased to be working with LACE Housing once again,” he said. “Together, we have already delivered several successful schemes around Lincoln which have resulted in excellent accommodation for people aged over 55.
“All the developments are located within established communities, allowing residents to continue living full and vibrant lives in safe and comfortable surroundings.
“We would like to thank the residents and businesses around the site for their patience and understanding while construction takes place.”
