Lindum Waste has been awarded the PAS 402:2025 certification, recognising its commitment to high standards in waste resource management, sustainability, and environmental performance.
The certification confirms that Lindum Waste operates to the highest industry benchmarks for tracking, managing, and reporting waste.
PAS 402 is a nationally recognised standard developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI). It sets out strict requirements for reporting waste volumes, material recovery rates, landfill diversion statistics, and the management of health, safety, environmental, and quality systems.
As part of the assessment, Lindum’s waste operations underwent rigorous analysis and demonstrated a landfill diversion rate of 99%.
Lindum Waste operates from Saxilby, near Lincoln, where it provides a range of skip-hire and recycling services for domestic, commercial, and public sector customers. Its fleet of waste containers is supported by robust systems that ensure regulatory compliance and prioritise environmental responsibility.
“Achieving PAS 402 certification shows our team that their hard work is recognised and gives us the opportunity to show customers that we take pride in the site, that the management team are dedicated to compliance, and we want customers to be happy with the service we offer,” said Donna-Louise Dawson, who led the certification effort alongside the Lindum Waste team.
Lindum’s achievement demonstrates not only the technical capability of its waste operation, but also a broader company-wide commitment to sustainability, data accuracy, and reducing environmental impact.
The certification supports growing demand for transparency in waste handling and reporting, especially within the construction industry, where clients are increasingly focused on reducing their carbon footprints and meeting environmental targets.
